I recently made a pair of cute musubi earrings for a friend of mine. Being that we are both living on the mainland, I wanted to add a Hawaii-flare to personalize my gift. I recently made a bunch of hawaii-style designs for my clip art and t-shirt designs.
I used a handle box template to create a simple package and embellished it with some scrap designer paper, a little silk flower, ribbon, and a cut out of my clip art.
It came out to be so sweet and my friend loved it!
For future use I printed out more clip art and printed out box templates in different colors... when I have the free time I assemble them together (you can also cut paper in the same color schemes to make gift tags and cards) and store them with my gift wraps and tissues, a very quick way to personalize your gifts!
